Ao Nang Beach
Dominated by impressive cliffs overlooking a huge
stretch of white sand.
Krabi's most popular beach is also a jumping off spot for
local boats to Railay, the nearby islands and neighbouring
beaches.
A large selection of hotels and bungalows can be found all
along the main street and beyond.
Railey Beach
The very essence of a tropical paradise;
no roads and no hassle.
Railay's beaches offer lazy days, adventure
forays and chilled-out evenings.
Noppharatthara Beach
Quiet and shady. Lined with swaying casuarina
trees, Noppharat is a popular weekend getaway with locals
and visitors.
Great food vendors selling fried chicken,
spicy salad and chilled coconut provide an instant picnic.
Klong Muang Beach
Krabi's latest beach destination, Muang Klong
is the preferred location of Krabi's five star and boutique
hotels like the Sheraton Krabi Resort, and the Tubkaak Resort.
Quiet and undisturbed.
Koh Phi Phi, Ko Lanta
Hundreds of offshore islands lie off Krabi's
coast, ranging from small uninhabited rocky outcrops just
offshore, to the larger island groups like Ko Phi Phi and
the Lanta island group.
Boats leave regularly from Krabi in high
season.

Krabi Town
Krabi town, the provincial capital, is a
charming little town which seems to be retaining its identity
in the face of developing tourism.
The river is still the hub with fishing
boats and river taxis ferrying locals and visitors along the
coast and to the islands...
Nearby Islands ....
Krabi's Marine National Park has masses of
islands, some as close as 15 minutes from the beach resorts
of Ao Nang and Railey.
Hire a local boat or take a snorkeling tour
to Koh Poda and the odd-shaped Chicken Island.
