TOUR PRICE
The tour price quoted includes transportation, transfers, accommodation,
some meals, service charge, government tax, tours, etc., as outlined
in each tour description. All package tour prices are based on a
minimum participation of two persons. For one person travelling
alone a surcharge as detailed in the price list will be levied.
Expenses other than those specified in each tour
itinerary e.g. airport taxes, additional meals, sightseeing, cost
of passport, visas or other documentation, laundry, liquor, excess
baggage charges, tips, personal or baggage insurance, cable, telephone
or communications charges, or any items of a personal nature are
not included in the price quoted.
ACCOMMODATION
AND MEALS
Air-conditioned accommodation with bath and/or shower is provided
at hotels listed under the PHUKET DOT COM tour program according
to their category or standard. Accommodation is in a shared twin-bed
room, double occupancy. For a third occupancy sharing the same room,
a roll-away bed will be provided. Please note that PHUKET DOT COM
cannot guarantee accommodation in a particular hotel and reserves
the right to substitute a hotel of similar standard should the situation
require it. In larger cities and major beach resorts the quality
of every aspect of the hotel is up to the highest international
standards, across the range of prices, but in more remote locations
and adventure destinations first-class hotels offering the fullest
range of facilities do not exist. In these situations, PHUKET DOT
COM will arrange the best standard of accommodation available in
each category.
All PHUKET DOT COM packages include American breakfast.
Some itineraries also include other meals, as detailed in each description.
TRANSFERS
AND TOURS
In all major destinations tours and transfers are on a seat-in-coach/car
basis.
EXTENSION
OF STAY EXPENSES
Stopover expenses, accommodation, etc., for customers awaiting commencement
of their chosen tour, after terminating, or while awaiting onward
connections, are not covered in the tour price. In most cases, however,
PHUKET DOT COM can arrange for accommodation and other services
at the point of arrival, or departure at special, favorable prices.
TOUR ESCORT
PHUKET DOT COM tours are not usually accompanied by a tour escort.
All sightseeing tours and most transfers, however, which are operated
on a seat-in-coach basis, include the service of a local English-speaking
guide.
PROGRAM
CHANGES
All PHUKET DOT COM tours are pre-arranged packages and no individual
program changes or modifications can be made. PHUKET DOT COM reserves
the right to rearrange the order of any tour itinerary, to cancel
or to substitute elements of any plan without notice when local
conditions force such changes.
EXCHANGE
VOUCHER
After reservations and payments are made, you are required to print
Tour Orders (Vouchers) from our booking system which serve as form
of payment for hotels and optional services.
PAYMENT
A full payment by credit card is required at the time when tour
reservation is made.
CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel your booking, in whole or in part, the cancellation
policy below will be applied unless stated otherwise in your confirmation
email.
- 30 days before tour date : Fully refundable
- 20 days before tour date : 75% refundable
- 15 days before tour date : 50% refundable
- Less then 15 days before tour date : NO REFUND
Special policies is applicalble during Super Peak
Season at some hotels and also some tour programs, please refer
to the special policy indicated in each tour/package.
No refund shall be given should you fail to show
up on the service participation date, or fail to arrive at the hotel.
Cancellations must be made in writing, quoting
the booking reference number, either by Fax to +66 7623-6542 or
e-mail to support@krabi-travel.com. Please note that your cancellation
has been acknowledged and accepted only when you receive a cancellation
confirmation. Proof of sending is not regarded as proof of delivery.
Subject to the above policy, PHUKET DOT COM as
an agent for the person or companies providing accommodation, transport
or other services, herein called Service Providers, reserve the
right to levy a whole period or pro rated charges for cancellations
and no show, where the Service Provider has stipulated this under
their own cancellation and no show policy.
Please note that refunds will be made in the form
of a credit entry to your card account, and is subject to bank handling
charge as detailed here.
AMENDMENTS
An amendment fee of 250 Baht will be charged for any amendments
after the payment voucher has been issued, except where this involves
additional days, tours, number of rooms, or number of people booked.
Cancellation of any services in whole or in part is subject to the
above cancellation policy.
If the amendment results in a refund of payment
(reduction of stay, tours, number of rooms, or number of people
booked), a handling fee will be charged on the amount to be refunded
equivalent to 5% of the total value or 500 Baht, whichever is greater.
REFUNDS
All refunds are subject to bank handling charges of 5% the total
booking value or a 500.00 THB minimum charge (whichever is greater).
Refunds will be made in the form of a credit entry to your card
account only.
After commencement of travel no refund, either
in full or in part, will be given for unutilised services included
in the program. Claims involving refunds require supporting evidence
of cancellation and passengers are required to inform PHUKET
DOT COM in writing 15 days after tour end.
The refund amount will be made in Thai Baht, equivalent
to the amount which shall be confirmed to you before the cancellation
transaction is processed. You acknowledge and accept that PHUKET
DOT COM and its affiliates shall not be liable for, or responsible
to the foreign exchange rate risk (exchange rate movements and rate
fluctuations) in converting the refund amount to your local currency.
All credit card refunds will be processed in a
timely manner. The refund process is dependent on your billing cycle
with the credit card company. Once the refund instructions leave
our office it can take anywhere from 10 - 45 working days for the
proceeds to arrive in your account.
RESPONSIBILITY
OF PHUKET DOT COM
Phuket Dot Com, hereinafter called PDC acts only as
agent for the person or companies providing accommodation, transport
or other services, hereinafter called Service Providers
and PDC issues all coupons, vouchers, tickets or other documents
on the Service Providers terms and conditions.
The tour member acknowledges that neither PDC,
nor its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, servants or agents shall
be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any injury,
damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or
inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any Service Provider
or by force majeure or other events beyond PDCs
control, including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, pilferage,
delays, severe weather, Acts of God, Acts of Government, accidents
to or failure of machinery, equipment, vehicles or industrial disputes.
PDC shall not be liable for, or responsible to,
any tour member in the event of dissatisfaction based on personal
opinion regarding the standard of service or accommodation provided
by any Service Provider nor be liable or responsible for any disappointment,
distress, lack of enjoyment arising from any act or omission whatsoever.
PDC will only acknowledge liability in the case of proven justified
complaints relating to specific and tangible inadequacies of facilities,
accommodation or services provided. In the event of such a complaint
the customer is requested to immediately contact PDC or the Service
Provider, hotel etc., for remedial action to resolve any problem
or irregularity at that time. Only if such a complaint has been
lodged will the PDC consider to fully investigate and act on any
complaint.
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you take out a holiday insurance policy.
We recommend that insurance covers loss of deposit
and other monies through cancellation, loss or damage to personal
baggage and loss of money, medical expenses, and additional expenses
to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs should any services
need to be extended or curtailed due to illness or other insurable
risk.
WEBSITE
CONTENT
The website content is subject to change without notice before the
tour begins or during any tour. PDC has endeavoured to ensure that
all information on the website is accurate, but can accept no responsibility
for inaccuracy, or truth of statements made.
We do not represent that any travel product or
service set out on our web site is suitable for you. You release
PDC from any claims in relation to the travel products and services
described on the web site, including claims that the products or
services are not suitable. Illustrations are intended to set the
mood for each tour destination and may not present actual views
as seen on a specific tour.
All fares and prices quoted in PHUKET DOT COM's
websites, including but not limited to www.krabi-travel.com, www.gothailand.com,
www.phuket-voyage.com, www.tropicalphuket.com are correct at the
time of publishing. Such fares, prices and international rates of
exchange are subject to change, which in turn may affect tour prices
quoted. Regardless of a deposit or full payment having been made,
any increase in the tour price must also be paid by the tour member.
If such increase is unacceptable, the tour member retains the right
to cancel his/her booking. However, attention is drawn to the possibility
that some cancellation charges may be imposed covering PDC cancellation
cost.
